She is a new mother to a baby girl and enjoys researching and writing about the many new experiences she is encountering on a daily basis while raising her daughter.

Amy has had a lifelong passion for all animals great and small. She is the owner/operator of a small farm in Ontario, Canada that specializes in breeding American Paint Horses.

Currently, Amy is completing a program in addiction counseling at McMaster University. She has professional experience in the areas of youth work and child welfare and will be pursuing licensing for a career in addiction therapy.
